Stewart & Colbert get new deal

American cable channel Comedy Central has signed new deals to keep Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert at the network. In a statement, the channel said that Jon Stewart will helm The Daily Show through June 2013 and The Colbert Report will air until the end of 2012. Both shows will be on air up against Conan O’Brien who has also gone to cable TV, inking a deal with the TBS channel for a a new chat show that will air later this year.
