A Star Wars Sitcom?

A new animated series is being developed by Star Wars creator George Lucas and the creators of Robot Chicken. Seth Green and Matthew Senreich who came up with the parody sketch show are to team up with Lucasfilm Animation to work on a new Star Wars vehicle. The series follows on from Lucasfilm Animation's Star Wars: The Clone Wars, an altogether more sedate and serious proposition. Green and Senreich are promising something much more irreverent for their show. "What do these characters do when they're not overthrowing empires?" asked Green. "We're going to pull back the curtain of some of those behind-the-scenes shenanigans," added Senreich.
